Travel to Cuba remains easy and legal despite restrictions announced by President Trump on June 16, 2017. Sadly, Americans are no longer able to travel to Cuba independently (on their own) under the people-to-people category. However, you can visit the island without prior permission, without special licenses, and without time-consuming paper work, if you travel with an authorized people-to-people US-based tour operator. Here at Freedom Travel we have always partnered with US based tour operators. Those relationships have flourished and over the past 3 years we have even more interesting itineraries custom-designed to best fit your travel style. The only requirement is to engage in meaningful interactions with individuals in Cuba–that is the easy part. Here are a few of the people we met in Havana with their smiling faces and openly happy for our visit.
